GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the world’s largest technology and AI exhibition, opened its landmark 45th edition in Dubai today, setting a new record with more than 6,800 exhibitors from over 180 countries. The five-day event, inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is being held across the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour, marking it as the most expansive and diverse edition in the event’s history.

This year’s GITEX brings together 2,000 startups and 1,200 global investors with combined assets exceeding US$1.1 trillion, reflecting Dubai’s position as a global hub for technology investment and innovation. Themed around the “Intelligence Economy,” the 2025 edition focuses on the future of artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation. Discussions are centered on how generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics are reshaping global economies and governance models, with a focus on sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

The event features an esteemed lineup of speakers and VIP guests, including H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy & Tourism, UAE; H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications, UAE; H.E.
